Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, rules out the possibility of postponing the regular parliamentary elections for the year 2015.
"This is out of the question, since amendments to the effective Constitution envisage that the Verkhovna Rada elections shall be held on last Sunday of October 2010", the Head of the Ukrainian Parliament declared, asked by the journalists on Wednesday.
"All other declarations have nothing in common with reality. However, anyone has the right to express assumptions and predictions", Volodymyr Lytvyn admitted.
Finally, he stated, "It would be nonsense to set up a Constitutional Assembly to fix regular parliamentary elections for 2015."
